I started building diy ponds since I was 6 I’m 30 now. I’ve always had one, these passed three years I’ve been dealing with cancer and as a result my garden and pond have suffered. We made the decision to remove it this year because of the decay of it all. I love though that I can live vicariously through yours! And all of aquascapes builds! Can’t wait for you guys to do the water stream expansion! Love all of your work! 🌸

Hi, I just planted 10 sprinters about the same size as yours. How often should I water these newly planted boxwood - they are 6-8 hrs full sun, and our weather is around 88-95 degree for the next two weeks? Thank you

Yours is the only video I watched all night that actually told me how to plant in these coco mats, that came with a hanger I bought. So much confusion on these. Some were indicating I had to soak them in water before planting in them, and never got round to do any actual planting. You made it simple, and you know way more than me!

What is the water temp of the pond? It does look much better.

There is an organic dye that helps reflect sunlight to cut down on algae and unwanted plants in the pond; it’s also safe for fish and wildlife.

I’m so jealous of your peonies! I’m not sure what kind mine are because they were here when we bought the house but mine fall over as soon as they bloom no matter what I do. I have them staked but I wish I didn’t have to.

Beautiful choices Laura! Question, when the pond plants say zone 7, wouldn’t they be protected in the water from getting too cold, considering you add a heater to keep it from freezing over?

I know that they are Fall colors but as far as how they look in this video I think my favorite was pot #2. I really like pink guara & the hoopla but not the combos. I really wanted both those plants in my garden this year but they have to come available at my local nursery. 😢 I would honorably mention to Aaron’s purple salvia with the purple & white petunias? & sweet potato- just not my fav colors but yea.

Are you still going to proceed with adding onto the pond in the Fall?

I think they are ALL beautiful... while Laura's pots are fuller, we have to remember that she put more plants in her pots than Aaron did, so his is doing very well also. He and Laura have a different way of looking at the plants and I really enjoy Aaron's input. I love to see the fun competition between them!!
